1. Website owner

In compliance with article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the identifying details of the owner of this website are as follows:

2. Purpose and scope

This Legal Notice governs access to, browsing of and use of the website published at https://atalai.net and all of its pages, in any of its three language versions (Catalan, Spanish and English). Hereinafter, the «Website» and the «Owner».

Accessing the Website grants you the status of user and implies full acceptance of this Legal Notice as published at the time of access. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Website.

The Website is informational: it presents the Owner's services and offers a form for getting in touch. It is not an online shop, it does not sell products or services directly, and it requires no registration or user account.

3. The Owner's activity

The Owner builds custom digital solutions: websites, web and mobile applications, online shops, process automation, conversational assistants (chatbots) and the ongoing maintenance of all of the above.

Information about services, ways of working and examples published on the Website is provided for information purposes and does not constitute a binding contractual offer. Any engagement is always formalised through a quote accepted in writing.

4. Terms of use

The user agrees to make appropriate and lawful use of the Website and its content, in accordance with the law, good faith and this Legal Notice.

In particular, the following is prohibited:

• Using the Website for unlawful purposes or in ways that harm the rights and interests of third parties.
• Introducing or spreading malicious code, or taking any action that could damage, overload, disable or impair the Website, the equipment hosting it or the services it provides.
• Attempting to access restricted areas or data, or circumventing the Website's security measures.
• Using the contact form to send unsolicited commercial communications, offensive content or mass automated messages.
• Systematically extracting the Website's content, by automated or manual means, without the Owner's express authorisation.

5. Intellectual and industrial property

All content on the Website — texts, images, icons, typefaces, logos, design, navigation structure and source code — belongs to the Owner or to third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by Spanish and European intellectual and industrial property law.

Its reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation without the Owner's express written authorisation is prohibited, except where legally permitted (for example, the right of quotation).

The business name «Atalai», its logo and its visual identity are distinctive signs of the Owner. Nothing published on the Website may be construed as an assignment or licence over them.

Rights over code developed for each client are governed by the relevant quote or contract, not by this Legal Notice.

6. Disclaimer of liability

The Owner works to keep the Website available and running correctly but cannot guarantee that it is free of errors or permanently available. The Owner is not liable for damage arising from interruptions, technical failures, delays or incidents beyond its control, including those attributable to the hosting provider or to the network.

Nor is the Owner liable for the use the user makes of the information published, or for decisions taken on the basis of it. Technical and informational content is provided as is and with no guarantee of results.

The Owner reserves the right to suspend access to the Website temporarily for maintenance, updates or improvements, without prior notice.

7. Links to third-party sites

The Website contains links to third-party services — among others, WhatsApp for starting a conversation, the Owner's social profiles and the providers that make the contact form work. These links are offered purely as a convenience.

The Owner neither controls nor accepts any responsibility for the content, terms of use or privacy policies of those third-party sites. On opening them, the user leaves this Website and becomes subject to the rules of the destination.

If you find a link leading to unlawful or inappropriate content, you can let the Owner know at contacta@atalai.net and it will be removed.

Anyone may link to this Website provided the link points to the full page, does not reproduce it inside frames, does not suggest a relationship or sponsorship that does not exist, and is not accompanied by false or disparaging statements.

8. Data protection and cookies

The processing of personal data provided by the user through the Website is described in the Privacy policy, and the use of cookies and similar technologies in the Cookie policy. Both form part of this Legal Notice.

The Website sets no measurement cookies without prior consent, in accordance with article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE.

9. Dispute resolution

If any disagreement arises, please write first to contacta@atalai.net: the direct route is usually the fastest, and it is the one the Owner will always take to look for a solution.

If you are a consumer, the European Commission ran an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr until 20 July 2025, when it ceased operating following the repeal of Regulation (EU) 524/2013. Instead, you may turn to the alternative consumer dispute resolution schemes provided for in Spanish Law 7/2017 of 2 November — such as the consumer arbitration boards — or contact the consumer affairs services of the Illes Balears. The Owner is not signed up in advance to any consumer arbitration scheme.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law.

For any dispute arising from access to or use of the Website, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Palma de Mallorca (Illes Balears, Spain), expressly waiving any other jurisdiction to which they might be entitled.

If the user acts as a consumer, this submission does not apply: the jurisdiction granted by consumer protection law prevails, which as a rule is that of the consumer's place of residence.

11. Changes

The Owner may amend this Legal Notice to adapt it to legal, technical or business changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown in the header.
